2020 Celebration Of The Decades VIP Event ( October 7, 2020 )
Celebrating Topps 70th Anniversary, 50 Golden Tickets
were inserted into packs of their flagship line entitling the holder along
with one guest to attend an event held in Las Vegas. Initially scheduled for October 7, 2020,
COVID forced the resheduling to November 17, 2021. Among the gift inclusions, each of the attendees
were given a 101 card set similiar to the Celebrating The Decades subset found in the Series 1 and Series 2
of Topps base product ( 100 plus 1 autographed ). The numbering of the cards were also
different from the subset in the regular Series 1 and 2 release. Each card was stamped with a gold foil "Celebration
Of The Decades" seal. Although the cards were not sequentially numbered, there were only 100 sets produced
for the event.
